Better Teach Assist (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is developed by Smallwoken, based in Canada. This Privacy Policy applies to the Better Teach Assist application on iOS, Android, and any associated web versions. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

• TeachAssist login sessions used solely to authenticate and access academic data. We do not collect, store, or have access to TeachAssist passwords.
• Grades and academic data (only if you explicitly opt in)
• Usernames
• Messages and content shared in chatrooms if social features are enabled

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store passwords, real names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, payment information, analytics data, advertising identifiers, or tracking information.

How We Use Information

Information is used only to:

• Display grades and academic information you request
• Enable optional social and chatroom features
• Operate and maintain core app functionality

We do not sell, rent, or share user data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services solely to operate the app:

• Supabase (authentication, database, chat features)
• Custom backend server hosted on Oracle Cloud

These services process data only to provide app functionality and do not sell your data.

Data Storage

Depending on your usage and opt-in choices, data may be stored locally on your device or on secure servers to support social features.

Children’s Privacy

Better Teach Assist is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
